（ORIGINAL）Color Blindness

Long long time ago, my color blindness was inadvertently discovered by my roommates.

It was that the introduction of the imports of foreign cosmetics to Beijing in the late 1980's. It was my first time to buy make-up in my life and I was the first one of liking French lady famous in my room in Beijing University. In fact, I prefer Elizabeth Asia and Europe from the United Kingdom but it had not been imported. I chose one of red lipsticks and liquid foundations, of French lady brand in the Xidan Market. " Hey, I get my favorite red lipstick for myself. Wow, I am so excited." I shouted out and pulled out it from my bag when I was back to my room. Everyone laughed and said "Really? But it is rosy!" I was too lazy to care for them and left them walking on the street. Then, there was coming a handsome handsome foreigner towards me, I thought maybe he would understand me if he was from France. So I showed him my lipstick and asked him" What is the color?". He also asked me with his index finger pointing to the blue sky, " What the color it is? I am not idiot." God! I had to asked pedestrians. They said that it was rosy but with strange eyes looking at me as if to say " Maybe you are in the challenge to our intelligence? Don't we know what is red and what is rosy?" Some people heard my question, and stormed off. Suddenly I was scared by a kind of thought, " Is it that people says so-called color-blindness? Oh, my God." I quickly called to my mother, "Mom, how are you doing? It seems that I heard of you talking about my dad was color-blind. " My mother answered, " Is your dad color blind? He is not only a color blindness, but night blindness as well." No wonder my father always carried with himself a flashlight and compass.
